Hello and thanks for dropping in to take a look at my blog. I’m not going to screw around with your time, or with mine. We have more important things to worry about than the sale at Nordstrom, what I ate for lunch or the state of affairs of your cat box. This is a zero bullshit zone.
I am a white, professional male living in New Jersey, and a vet. I live okay, despite the immigration, taxation and lack of representation in my current State of residence. I choose to live here, so I won’t ramble on about how much it sucks. Besides, like I said earlier, we have bigger concerns, you and I–genuine concerns that will affect us, permanently, for years to come.
I remember the first time I ever received a payment from the United States government. It was a rainy Sunday morning at Fort Benning, Georgia, about forty degrees, and I could feel the freezing Georgia rain running down my neck through my beat-up GI poncho. Why Bravo Company, 1/19 Infantry (Training) had to receive its pay outside in the rain, I will never know or understand?
When my turn came around, I walked up to the paymaster, saluted and rattled off my particulars. He handed me a check for $300-something dollars. That check listed my employer as the United States of America, and it had the Statue of Liberty in the right hand corner. Although I had given up much sweat, skin and blood for those $300 bucks, I had a lump in my throat, thinking about how much more I could have done.
Years later, I came across a welfare check. It was written on the very same stock.
What we need now in America are Patriots–Patriots who will come when the trumpet calls them.
dig the site, ‘ol war eagle buddy. when can I expect an update?

Hey, Mountain Man. Nice to see you’ve joined my twelve or so faithful readers. I’ll drudge up some more global agony soon.
